Which would you rather pull out of a pack? Personally I feel that colored sketch cards are a premium. They seem to have more effort put into them and just look nicer. Examples by Jorge Baeza: Same artist, one b&w and one color sketch:

Tough question.. I know a color blind person it would be interesting to ask him what he thinks of a dozen B&W and a dozen color.

Hahhahaahahahahaha Wtf Noc! I just noticed your post councount and the amount of stars you have!!!!
Good poin on the blind guy.
I like color like everyone else. Its the obvious choice. But for me when I sketch something I prefer pencil.....
And some artists are so damn good in black and white that color is not even needed. But for sure a color sketch is almost always prefered

I think everybody prefers a mini-masterpiece that is inked and colored and amazingly detailed... HOWEVER... I prefer a nice pencil or B&W inked sketch over a pffffttttt colored sketch card any day. In fact, a couple of those are among my favorites in my collection, ranked over hundreds of full color sketches. This is the first sketch I pulled. It pretty much got me back into card collecting and I still love looking at it. Have pulled many fully colored sketches since, that I couldn't care less about.

I do agree that some pencil sketches or B&W inks are very well done. It seems that color can strip away fine detail from a sketch.
